The MBA Student Association was excited to host Jonathan Goldstein, a corporate recruiter from Legacy Healthcare, on September 14, 2017. The event focused on career paths and opportunities in the health care industry. Goldstein gave insights into what employers are looking for in their recruits, and also the possible ways students can provide value to their future employers with little or no experience. This event was full of energy and provided thoughtful insights into the reality of life after graduation.
The MBA Student association was given a unique opportunity to attend the annual Global Midwest Alliance conference on September 14, 2017. The conference examined the impact of technology within the manufacturing industry. Five Concordia-Chicago MBA students attended the conference and were immeasurably enriched by networking interactions with the other conference attendees. The Concordia students emerged having heard diverse perspectives on the diverse career opportunities available in the manufacturing industry.
The MBA Student Association was proud to host an information table at the campus Cougar Fest on August 30, 2017. Organized by the Concordia-Chicago Office of Student Involvement, Cougar Fest provided campus organizations an opportunity to raise their profile and network with other groups. Student Association Members were able to explain their mission of connecting and networking with other student groups and providing a well-rounded experience to its members.
