Summer 2018 Australia travel program will explore global perspectives on reading education

Ten-Day Travel Course to Australia
July-early August, 2018 (exact travel dates TBA)

Concordia University Chicago is pleased to announce the 2018 ten-day travel course to Australia. This special travel course is designed for students of reading and literacy education and is led by subject-area experts from Concordia-Chicago’s staff. The travel course was first launched in 2012; since then, new cohorts have traveled to Australia every summer except 2017.

This popular program exposes motivated learners to the pioneering breakthroughs in multiliteracy and project-based learning developed by Australian educators. Program participants visit a variety of Australian schools, engage in academic pursuits and enjoy the educational experience of a lifetime in the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Sydney, Australia.

Successful participants earn graduate credit for EDU 6291. Other graduate and undergraduate course credit options are also available. Airfare, hotel, transfers, transportation, most meals and other amenities are included for $3,850 plus tuition costs. Financial aid may be available.
