Concordia-Chicago faculty member, grad student, address Summit on teacher leadership

Concordia-Chicago graduate student Adam Billman-Galuhn and professor of leadership Dr. Kimberly Strike presented at Celebrating the Noble Profession: Teaching, on June 22. The Summit was part of the Summer Institute for Education through the Center for Success in High-Needs Schools held at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. The session presented by Billman-Galuhn and Dr. Strike was titled The World Isn’t Flat and Neither is the Teaching Profession. The session focused on the importance of teacher leaders, and career possibilities for teachers in the field. Billman-Galuhn, who recently completed his sixth year of teaching at Oswego High School, was named a Teacher Leader Delegate by Concordia University Chicago. He will complete his Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership in December 2018.
